All our captains are coast guard certified and experienced fishing guides. Your safety is our number one priority and of course having fun! When you take a fishing charter your price includes rods, reels, tackle, bait, gas, ice, licenses and your expert Captain. All you have to bring is food and drinks.
As this is Florida and the sun can get hot we suggest you bring sunscreen or wear a hat and make sure to bring covered shoes - sandals and flip flops are not recommended on a charter.
Spend a morning or afternoon shelling the beautiful beaches of Cape St. George or better known as Little St. George.
This regions fishing is in full swing—
Pompano, trout, mackerel and redfish are all being caught on the beach. And off the old bridge (which has been converted to a fishing pier) you can catch sheephead, flounder, trout and redfish as well. Wade fishing has been excellent.
On the beach fish a double #2 circle hook rig with floats baited up with sand fleas, fish bites or bait of your choice. Leave your surf rod in a sand spike and grab another light spin outfit (10 lb line 7-8 foot fast rod) to cast jigs for pompano and redfish, spoons and gotcha plugs for spanish and mirrolures (52Ms) or your favorite crank bait for big trout.
On the pier fish the whole water column top to bottom, wade fishing same thing (top water, suspension baits, spoons and jigs for trout and redfish.
Our waters are highly accessible for kayak fishing either on the beachside or the bay. Great reports for all inshore species come in daily. A lot of nice redfish and big trout are being kayaked as well!
Be sure to use at least 20 lb fluorocarbon on your terminal ends as it is invisible and a lot more abrasion proof than monofilament. A two foot section will suffice.
